Aftercare is straightforward: wash gently with unscented soap 2 to 3 times daily, apply thin layers of unscented moisturizer, avoid sun exposure and water submersion during healing. Once healed, traditional tattoos are among the most durable styles — but sun protection still matters. UV exposure will dull those rich reds and greens over time, so sunscreen is your friend.
