Why we use needles (and why that's a good thing)
We know — “needle” sounds scary. But here's the deal: piercing guns can't be fully sterilized between uses. They use blunt force to push jewelry through the ear, which causes more tissue damage and takes longer to heal.
A single-use, sterile needle is sharper, cleaner, and actually less painful than a gun. It's over in a second. Your kid will barely flinch.
We've been doing this for 4+ years. Your kiddo is in good hands.

Parent questions, answered
Why use a needle instead of a piercing gun?+
Piercing guns can't be fully sterilized and use blunt force, causing more tissue damage. A single-use sterile needle is sharper, cleaner, and actually less painful. It's over in a second.
How old does my child need to be?+
We pierce children of any age, but we require a parent or guardian to be present for all minors. We'll check ID at the time of service.
Does it hurt?+
It's a quick pinch — most kids say 'that's it?!' afterward. We've seen more tears in the parking lot than in the chair. The anticipation is always the hardest part.
What jewelry do you use for new piercings?+
We use implant-grade titanium starter earrings — hypoallergenic, lightweight, and safe for sensitive skin. No nickel, no cheap mystery metal.
How do we care for the piercing at home?+
We'll walk you through everything before you leave — cleaning routine, what's normal, what to watch for. It's simple: sterile saline spray twice a day, don't rotate the jewelry, and be patient.
How long until my child can change the earrings?+
Earlobes typically heal in 6–8 weeks. We recommend coming back in for a jewelry change so we can confirm healing and switch to something fun safely.
