Walk-ins are always welcome for piercings. In most cases, we can get you pierced the same day you walk in. No appointment necessary for standard piercings. For multiple piercings or complex projects like curated ear designs, you can schedule a consultation to plan everything out — consultations are always free.

Piercing prices at Platinum Tattoos & Piercings include the piercing service and implant-grade titanium starter jewelry. Ear lobe piercings start at $25 to $40. Cartilage piercings (helix, tragus, conch, etc.) range from $35 to $60. Nose and septum piercings range from $35 to $60. Lip piercings range from $40 to $60. Navel piercings range from $40 to $70. Industrial piercings range from $50 to $80. Dermal piercings range from $50 to $80. Premium jewelry upgrades — gold, gemstones, opals, specialty brands — are available at additional cost.

How old do you have to be for a piercing? Ages 16 and up with a parent or legal guardian present and consenting for most piercings. Age 18 with valid photo ID for tongue piercings and dermals. Government-issued photo identification is required for all clients.

Do you use piercing guns? Never. All piercings at Platinum Tattoos & Piercings are performed with single-use sterile hollow needles by trained professionals. Piercing guns cause unnecessary trauma, cannot be properly sterilized, and use substandard jewelry. We will never use one.

What kind of jewelry do you use? Implant-grade titanium (ASTM F136) for all starter jewelry. This is the highest standard in the piercing industry — biocompatible, hypoallergenic, and designed for optimal healing. We also carry 14k and 18k gold, niobium, and high-quality specialty brands for upgrades.

How do I take care of my new piercing? Clean twice daily with sterile saline solution. Do not twist, rotate, or touch the jewelry with unwashed hands. Avoid submerging the piercing in water (pools, hot tubs, lakes) until healed. Your piercer will provide detailed aftercare instructions specific to your piercing type.

Can I bring my own jewelry? We strongly recommend using our implant-grade titanium starter jewelry for initial piercings. Jewelry brought from outside sources may not meet the quality and sizing standards needed for safe healing. Once healed, you have more flexibility with jewelry choices.
