Cartilage piercings take about 15–20 minutes. Your piercer shows you jewelry options, marks the exact placement, and walks you through it before a needle touches your ear. You approve the mark in a mirror first.

What's the difference between helix, tragus, conch, and daith?+
Helix = outer rim of the ear. Tragus = the small flap in front of the ear canal. Conch = the inner bowl. Daith = the innermost fold above the ear canal. Rook = the inner ridge near the top. Industrial = two helix piercings connected by a single barbell.
Does a cartilage piercing hurt more than a lobe?+
