6–12 months is the realistic range. Helix and forward helix tend to be on the shorter end. Industrial and conch can run longer. The biggest factor is how well you follow aftercare — saline twice daily, hands off, no sleeping on it.
What's the difference between helix, tragus, conch, and daith?+
Helix = outer rim of the ear. Tragus = the small flap in front of the ear canal. Conch = the inner bowl. Daith = the innermost fold above the ear canal. Rook = the inner ridge near the top. Industrial = two helix piercings connected by a single barbell.
