Privacy Policy

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and business information you provide during setup.

When your clients interact with your Marked-powered profile — booking appointments, submitting intake forms, or leaving reviews — we collect the information they provide as part of those actions.

We collect usage data automatically: which pages you visit, how long you spend on them, device type, browser, and IP address. This is standard practice for any web application and helps us improve the platform.

If you connect a POS system (Square, Clover), we receive transaction data in read-only mode — we pull your sales data, we don't write to it.

To operate and improve Marked Management — your account, your profile, your bookings, your analytics.

To send you transactional emails: booking confirmations, receipt summaries, product updates.

To provide customer support when you reach out.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data to train AI models without your explicit consent. We do not share your clients' data with third parties for advertising purposes.

We use third-party services to operate the platform. These include infrastructure providers (hosting, database, file storage), payment processors (Stripe for subscription billing), and analytics tools.

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy and data practices. We choose providers that meet industry-standard security and privacy requirements.

When you connect your POS or social media accounts, those platforms' terms and privacy policies also apply to that data.

You are the data controller for your clients' information. Marked Management processes it on your behalf as a data processor.

Your clients' intake forms, contact information, booking history, and uploaded documents belong to your business. You can export or delete this data from your account settings.

We do not contact your clients directly, advertise to them, or share their information with other Marked customers.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active.

If you cancel your account, we retain your data for 90 days in case you want to reactivate. After 90 days, your data is permanently deleted from our systems.

Backups may retain data for a short additional period beyond deletion as part of standard backup rotation.

We use cookies to keep you logged in and to understand how the platform is being used.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We do not track you across the web.

You can clear cookies at any time from your browser settings. This will log you out of your account.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can do most of this directly from your account settings.

If you need help accessing, correcting, or deleting data that isn't available through the interface, contact us at privacy@markedmanagement.com.

If you are located in the EU or UK, you have additional rights under GDPR and UK GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to object to processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

California residents have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to request deletion.

We use industry-standard security practices: encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted data storage, access controls, and regular security reviews.

No system is perfectly secure. If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it to security@markedmanagement.com.

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. When we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email and update the "last updated" date below.

Continuing to use Marked Management after a policy update means you accept the updated terms.
